IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE SWINE FLU

In response to the many emails and posts regarding the swine flu, the producers of the festival met with the Jefferson County Health Department yesterday seeking their advice and council. We were given suggestions for the weekend which included placing sanitizers in every restroom, installing additional hand washing stations and sanitizing stations near food and beverage vendors and throughout the site.

In addition, all food vendors are required to receive a Jefferson County Health Department Certification before they can open for business.

The Jefferson County Health Department holds its restaurants and vendors to the highest health standards to protect the public interests.

We are comfortable that once the Heath Department issues a permit to the vendor, and in addition to the other precautionary items being put in place, we will have a festival site which will be safe.
